Who is Advanced Resources? Founded in 1985, Advanced Resources of Michigan, Inc. (AR), has been assisting clients of all sizes in a wide variety of industries with their staffing and business problem solving needs throughout the US, Europe, and South America. Initially, we were focused as a provider of Information Technology (IT) services. In 1990, we added “Auditing” to our “bag of tricks”. The auditing was specific to IT, healthcare, internal audits, controls, SOX, and business process reviews. We functioned as an extension to the already existent client audit organization. In 1997, we developed a team of network engineers to assist our base of small to medium size customers with their technical computer hardware and software needs. Additionally, we grew our responsibility to becoming their IT management vendor, and are now a “Managed Service Provider (MSP). As an MSP, we provide the complete management of our customer’s hardware, software, network, security, data backup and recovery, and system integration needs. In 2002, AR acquired an interest in a firm by the name of William & James, LLC. (W&J). W&J is dedicated to the business of assisting clients with their permanent hire needs. Their expertise includes the recruiting of Auditors, Accountants / Financial Analysts, Engineers, Information Technologists, and Managers. And in 2006, Advanced Resources added a new dimension to the company by qualifying as a female minority owned business. With the addition of new and experienced management personnel, we believe we are well positioned to meet the needs of the 21st century Our Philosophy We recognize that each client is unique.
